WHY AND HOW I BECAME A VIRTUAL ASSISTANT
My first venture into the Virtual Assistant industry was in 2013 when I worked for a US company as a Chat Support Specialist. A few months into the job, I was hired by UK client to work as a General Virtual Assistant.
Not long after, I started to accept small projects in Social Media Marketing, media transferring, logo creation, various clerical tasks, and marketing support for small to medium sized businesses abroad.

She is a daughter of hard working parents who persevered to put her and her siblings through college.
Angela’s first goal in life is to finish school and get a decent job to give back to her parents. When she was young, she wanted to be a teacher, a psychologist, and a physical therapist. However, she graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (a decision she has no regrets whatsoever if you ask her).
Gifted with strategic and logical thinking, she excelled in her chosen education. During her first two years on her first IT job, Angela discovered that her weakness lies in communication skills. With the desire to get better at talking and engaging with people, she attended a Finishing Courses for Call Center Agents and later landed a job in the BPO industry as a Collections Agent for almost three years.
After settling down with her husband, Angela was blessed with a beautiful daughter and decided to take a break from work to spend more time with her newborn. After a year, she returned to her old job but realized that she’s not happy. She wanted to spend more time with her daughter. Missing her little one’s milestones while working in a cubicle, ten hours a day is not worth it.
Her desire to be with her daughter during the crucial formative years led to her discovery of work at home opportunities. Not too long after she resigned from her office job, Angela was hired as a Chat Support Specialist by a company based in the US, and the rest, as they say, is history.
Now Angela has developed her skills in Infusionsoft and WordPress Web designing, pursuing to become a Consultant in both fields.
